There is nothing more worrying than being in an emergency situation with your pet and not knowing what to do. With the help of this site, hopefully we can reassure and assist you if you ever find yourself in need of a vet in an emergency.
About our service
In July 1999 St George's started offering it's out of hours service to other local practices. Since then it has grown and now provides cover for thirteen other local practices. Clients registered with our member practices view us as the night-time branch of their own surgery. Full records are transferred to your own vet first thing in the morning to ensure that everyone is kept up to date. See more about us
The Emergency Team
We are based at our Wolverhampton Hospital, a RCVS tier 3 practice, with staff working in our wards caring for your pet 24 hours a day. A dedicated team of staff is responsible for the out of hours service with a fully qualified vet and nurse available on site during the emergency service hours. All of the vets, nurses and receptionists in the out of hours team only work during the out of hours service so you can be guaranteed that they will be refreshed and highly experienced in giving advice on veterinary emergency situations.
